HAIR ARTIST REQUIREMENTS
- A cosmetology license in the state of Wisconsin (or reciprocity from other states)
- Eager to learn and a willingness to grow
- A passion for constant, on-going education at all career levels
- Responsible, open-minded, and excellent people skills
- Tech and social media savvy
Sankalpa’s Hands on Training Program
At Sankalpa, our training program is the foundation of everything we do. This is where talent turns into confidence and confidence turns into a career.
Our hands on training program is designed to fast track new artists through real world education, technical skill building, guest experience and business fundamentals. You wont just learn how to do hair, you’ll learn how to build relationships, manage your schedule, grow your income and show up as a professional behind the chair.
This program is structured, intentional and immersive. We ask for commitment because we’re committed to you. Through personalized caching and ongoing education, our new artists graduate with strong technical skills, a clear path, and the tools needed for long term success.
Completion of the program opens doors to level advancement, leadership opportunities, education roles and continued growth within the Sankalpa team.
Training Program Requirements
We’re looking for artists who are motivated, coachable and excited to grow.
- A current Wisconsin cosmetology license
- New or emerging stylists with 2 years or less of experience
- A strong desire to learn, improve, and build confidence behind the chair
- An openness to ongoing education and skill development at every career stage
- Responsible, open-minded, and people focused with great communication skills
- Comfortable with technology and social media (we’ll help you grow here too)
