By continuously empowering each other, we aspire to create strong, responsible and environmental leaders. Sankalpa is a team driven, education-based salon, where passion meets innovation. We excel in the art of communication and believe in giving all our guests a thorough, individualized consultation to ensure they are the best version of themselves. Not only do we want to help make the world more beautiful than we found it, we want all our guests to leave feeling beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside.

Educational accomplishments?
After graduating from the Aveda institute, Minneapolis in 2003, my love and passion for our industry was just beginning to bloom. I dove headfirst into education by receiving my Redken Color/Design certification and becoming a national Redken Artist/Educator in the salon and on the road. It is an honor to help grow hair stylists to their professional goals and dreams. I continue to further my education by attending many classes at the world renowned Redken Exchange in NYC, along with Redken Artist trainings. I have also had the honor of supporting 2 International Redken Symposium teams. Education is so important, and I have found it to be the key to success in our world!

What is your current favorite Redken Product?
It is too hard to pick just one, but currently I am absolutely loving Rewind 06. I love the texture and bounce it give to short sassy haircuts.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I love peaking at Pinterest and Instagram; however, I absolutely gravitate more towards people, places, and things around me.
What is your Favorite Quote?

What song would you say sums you up?
Ohh… that’s a tough one. I would say because of my determination to succeed, my positive energy and this constant passion/fire in my soul that’s always burning, it would be a tossup between Tom Petty, I Won’t Back Down & Alicia Keys, Girl on Fire.
What is one thing most people do not know about you?
I am a leap year baby, so technically I am only 9 years old!
Delaney : Hair Artist
Hello! I’m so happy you found me. I’m Delaney, the girl behind @hairartistry_by_delaney. I’ve been at Sankalpa Salon since it opened its doors in November 2019.
I grew up in a big family in a small Wisconsin town. Where our family’s passion was playing basketball and showing pigs at the county fair. I’ve been married to my husband for 2 years and we just finished turning our house into a home. When I’m not working, I enjoy gardening, shopping, hanging out with my family/friends and decorating my home.
My current passion is to make people feel beautiful. I specialize in anything from men’s and women’s cuts to brunettes, blonding and balayage. If you are looking for a change come see me, I can’t wait to meet you!

Emma : Hair Artist
Hi babes! My name is Emma and I’m a stylist here at Sankalpa! I’m so grateful for every second I get to work with my amazing clients. My absolute favorite part of the day is seeing my clients’ smiling faces at the end of their services when they are loving their hair and leaving with so much confidence! YOU are a big part of why I love doing what I do!
Behind the chair, I specialize in Blonding, Balayage, Lived in color, Men’s/Women’s haircuts, and 5 different Extension methods!
Outside the salon, I’m a sucker for happy hour or a good time out with friends/family! In the summer I love being on the water or golfing, and in the wintertime, you can catch me hitting some slopes with my snowboard! I’m always down for trying anything new! Hi, I’m Sierra! My journey with hair started by experimenting on myself. After how amazing I felt turning my own hair into something I love, I knew I wanted to share that feeling and experience. I recently graduated from the Academy of Beauty Professionals. I’m working on growing my skills and becoming a specialist in fun, vivid colors.
